The MendoRecyle HazMobile offers hazardous waste collection to Ukiah residents every Tuesday and Wednesday from 8 am to 2 pm. There is also a collection every second Saturday of the month.

Certain hazardous materials are also accepted by the Ukiah Transfer Station & Recycling Center. These materials include:

• Household and automotive batteries
• Motor oil and oil filters
• Antifreeze
• Fluorescent bulbs
• Sharps (syringes and hypodermic needles must be properly packaged and sealed in an approved, puncture-proof container to be accepted)
